Full Time:
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £39,510 – £46,635 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Slade School of Fine Art is a leading university department for teaching and research in Fine Art, with facilities and infrastructure supporting the discourse around painting, sculpture and fine art media (including film and video, photography, electronic media, print and sound). We are seeking to appoint two permanent full-time Lecturers in Fine Art, with expertise in fine art media, to start in late September 2010. One will take on the role of head of undergraduate fine art media and the other will be head of graduate fine art media.
Key Requirements
The successful candidates will be qualified practicing artists who have substantial previous experience of leading, managing and directing staff and students in a fine art teaching environment at HE level. A successful record of exhibiting and presenting high quality work in a national and international context is essential.
