Patrick’s main interest is to create autonomous robotic entities capable of imagining our reality.
Patrick studied computer science twenty years ago in France. At the end of the 80’s he studied Haute Couture fashion design in Paris. He 1991 he arrived in London to become a painter. During the past 20 years he has participated in solo and group exhibitions in London and Paris. In 2003 his interest in computing was revived and his research has focused on the creation of drawing systems. Patrick is still pursuing his childhood dreams. His first drawing machine was built in 1976 and consisted of a 1D pen plotter made of Lego, a home made solenoid and a green felt pen. Patrick is currently:
Co-principal investigator Aikon2, a research project he initiated during his MSc, studies and co-directed with Prof. fol Leymarie. The project is funded by a three year research grant by the Leverhulme Trust.
PhD candidate at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Co-Coordinator, Board Member of the Goldsmiths Thursday Club.
