A series of video poems interspersed with live text which witness the crevices of language found lurking in the environment; reconstituted by editing, perspective, timing and juxtaposition to suggest moments of textual discovery amid a world that is successively destroying its semantic & biological birthright. A way to see when the words have been lost.

The Babylon Ministry of Misinformation

It has been brought to the attention of the proto-civilians of the region of the Tigris-Euphrates that at the event of the 21st century AD much of our culture's 5000 plus years of future invention and evolution of civilization will be lost, forgotten, erased, appropriated, burned, Americanized, exploited, and trampled on. In 3000 BCE The Babylon Ministry of Misinformation had the vision to initiate a node to witness and remember the fragments of glyphs, signs, letterforms, ledgers, tablets, proclamations, lyrics and texts which repeated Expansionist-Nations will seek to overthrow. We are seeking the inventive actions of all artists and poets of the future to help remember WhatCouldBe.

The landscape is awash with antique glyphwork, our camera person is whimsically concerned with mapping the derivé of a solitary worm/actor around the beachhead of Washington Island Wisconsin. The rocks, the sand, the lush growth are all larger than life cathedrals on which to inscribe select icons of timeless speech. How to markup an ecological event without embedding it with the bias of an over-saturated language such as English.
